Why it's on The Cornrow?Mancala board games can be found all across Africa. Versions of the game date back to the 7th century and evidence suggests the game existed in Ancient Egypt. It is among the oldest known games to still be widely played today. As Yoruba sisters, we call it Ayo, but you might also know it as Oware or Endodoi. We couldn't have a Cornrow Games section without giving Ayo its shine!
