The first of our series of 'The Cornrow Icons' sweaters features the legendary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. This sweater proves that loungewear can be chic and meaningful as well as super comfortable!
The colour is a retro smoky black. It has a set in sleeve and a scoop neckline.

Why it's on The Cornrow?
Jean-Michel Basquiat was an iconic black artist who rose to fame in the early 1980s with his expressionist, graffiti inspired art. When we talk about a modern Black Aesthetic and the variety that exists within Black Culture, the contribution of Basquiat cannot be overlooked.
