This is a beautifully hand made crochet doll called Dami. She is simply the most stunning example of a fabric doll we have seen.
Dami even as cornrow braided hair using an innovative crochet technique. She is a tall girl with arms just made for a little girl to hold on to. She is unique as she is made using the ancient amigurumi* (crochet) technique.
She wears a red long sleeve top, blue checkered skirt, white high socks with black long boots.
A perfect companion for any little child and is a true heirloom item.
Size: 45cm tall ( approx 18 inches)
Materials: 100% cotton
The clothes crocheted onto the doll and cannot be removed.
Children under 3 years old should be supervised during play.
*Amigurumi (編みぐるみ, lit. "crocheted or knitted stuffed toy") is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. The word is a compound of the Japanese words 編み ami, meaning "crocheted or knitted", and 包み kurumi, literally "wrapping", as in 縫い包み nuigurumi "(sewn) stuffed doll".
