"Highlife" is a musical style which emerged in Ghana in the 1920s during the colonial period. Highlife is based on the traditional music of the Akan tribe, but is played with Western instruments. It became popular worldwide in the 1950s and 1960s, and has an enduring influence in Jazz.
This design was inspired by traditional Ghanaian Kente cloth.

Why its on The Cornrow?
We love the vibe of these socks. The prints are fab, as is the quality. Dress up your ankles with these socks, they look great poking out the bottom of jeans or more formalwear. Is it too early to say they are the perfect Christmas stocking filler??
