Afromuses Chris Ofili Art Print - Woman
This may be a humble tea towel but it can also be stretched onto a canvas at your local framer and double up as a beautiful and affordable artwork for your home, as pictured here. In fact we insist you have these two framed-it's a must!?
This tea towels are produced as part of a collaborative license with the New Museum in New York.
The watercolors were digitally printed onto the tea towels preserving the vibrancy of the original colours. With a customised border, these tea towels are intended as a set but are sold individually.
Afromuses in its entirety presents over 181 watercolors created by Ofili between 1995-2005. None of the works are intended as actual representations of real people. Instead, they are figurative expressions. These figures emerge from Ofili's personal references and impressions of memory, day-to-day life and art history.
The man and the woman are available as a set for £65.
