Why it's on The Cornrow
We couldn't have a site that centres the black aesthetic without a collection of scarves. While we regularly wrap these around our 'fros, we also love them as art to frame and adorn our walls. We love Ana Clerici's designs, a contemporary twist on Matisse in our humble opinion.
Ana Clerici is a visionary artist hailing from Buenos Aires. Her journey as an artist began when she graduated in set design, and over the past 12 years, she has grown into a renowned illustrator and plastic artist, carving out her own unique brand. Drawing inspiration from women, fashion, and the breathtaking nature that surrounds her, Ana's art captures the essence of transformation and diversity with vibrant, colorful pieces that celebrate the power of women.
